Community Case Manager
Virginia is a Community Case Manager with Center for Women Transition (CWIT). Virginia came to CWIT after retiring from the State of Missouri where she was employed for 30 years. While working for the State of Missouri she was responsible for the supervision of justice involved individuals, charged with a variety of offenses. During her career with the State of Missouri, Virginia was a member of the St. Louis City 22nd Judicial Circuit Treatment Court Team for over 15 years, where she developed a passion for working with those dealing with substance misuse.
After retiring Virginia decided her work with justice involved individuals was not finished, and she continued her aspiration for assisting those with legal challenges in the development of a productive life by joining the CWIT Team.
It is Virginia’s belief that every flower will grow and blossom, if it receives the right nourishment. The same can be said for those whose life choices may have caused a delay in growth. With support and encouragement, it is Virginia’s hope to see the women who are involved with CWIT grow to their fullest potential.
Virginia holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from University of Missouri –St. Louis.
