The Center for Women in Transition believes that access to safe, secure, and affordable housing is key to women's ability to successfully transition from jail or prison. We're committed to providing a violence-free and drug-free environment where our clients can recover and thrive.
​
​The Center provides supervised, apartment-style transitional housing for up to 44 residents in Baker and Schirmer House. In addition, clients live in scattered-site homes throughout our community. The Center equips clients with the skills and knowledge around tenant rights, utility and rent payments, and home maintenance so that they're prepared to manage their own homes in the future.
