Table Host: Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet
The Center for Women in Transition advocates for smarter sentencing laws and policies that lift barriers to people with criminal records. There are 582 legal barriers to employment for persons with a criminal record in Missouri, which makes it even more difficult for a woman to obtain a livable wage job to support herself and her children. The Center uses its direct understanding of the needs of justice-involved women to promote change within the private and public sector.

Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet are hosting the Advocacy for Change Table.
