Children's Program
The Center for Women in Transition children's programs aim to cease the intergenerational cycle of crime in families in the St. Louis area. Children of offenders are six times more likely to commit a crime compared to children of non-offenders. The Center for Women in Transition provides personal enrichment programs including summer camps, counseling and monthly facilitated group sessions to the children of women in our program. These programs help children identify the root causes of crime in their families, and aid them in creating a brighter future for themselves and their own children.
