Laura Toledo has been Executive Director of the Center for Women in Transition since July 2013. She had a long history of volunteering for the organization prior to joining the staff. She joined the Board of Directors in 2006 and also became a mentor. She was involved in numerous board committees and served a term as President of the Board. Laura is a lawyer by background. She began her legal career in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, and her primary area of focus in private practice was corporate bankruptcy law. She grew up in Utah and is a graduate of the University of Utah and Cornell University Law School. She also has a certificate in Business Management for Non-Profit Leaders from the Washington University Olin Business School.
