The Center for Women in Transition is now hiring part-time Security Monitors and House Managers!

The Center for Women in Transition is seeking a part-time House Manager to work weekend overnight shifts at its Schirmer House facility. The essential duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:
1. Supervise participants’ activities within the house; maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere; ensure compliance to program rules and requirements.
2. Document and log activities as required.
3. Perform urinalysis when necessary or when drug or alcohol use is suspected.
4. Document inventory of residents and Schirmer house upon move-in and move out.
5. Monitor and secure resident medication.
6. Supervise security monitor staff.
7. Conduct room checks according to established guidelines.

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, good communication skills, the ability to set and maintain boundaries and conflict management skills. Previous experience working with offenders and/or at-risk population helpful but not required.

2. Ensure staff, facility, and guest safety both inside and outside of the House.
3. Serve as the police/sheriff liaison.
4. Engage in crime prevention, intervention, investigation, and reporting to support law enforcement activities.
5. Administer drug and alcohol testing and record keeping.
6. Conduct room inspections according to established guidelines.

Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, good communication skills, the ability to set and maintain boundaries and conflict management skills. Previous experience working with offenders and/or at-risk population helpful but not required.
