In our fiscal year ending June 30, 2009, the Center for Women in Transition:
- Served a total of 299 women, a 47 percent increase from 2008.
- Provided 102 women with mentoring, case management, services and referrals through the agencies mentoring program.
- Served 160 women at the organization's newest transitional living facility, Schirmer House.
An additional 40 women were housed at the organization's existing facility, Courtois House.
- Acted as the lead agency for Project ReConnect, which served 166 individuals.
The organization provided direct case management and services for 37 women.
Only one of these women was arrested, giving the program an impressive three percent recidivism rate. - Boasted an impressive 5.5 percent recidivism rate across all programs.
